Sunrise View (2018)

I made this sunrise painting and animation back in 2018 for the Kirby ReAnimated Collab (now temporarily gone from YouTube but you can see on Newgrounds). I was inspired to make this from a scene in 5 Centimeters Per Second where the sun slowly rises from under the moon. It's a gorgeous scene that's blissful, peaceful, and quiet. It's the quiet and peaceful moments that we experience that I love to capture, and wish to convey in my animations in the future.
